Built on over a century of heritage and rooted in science, with approximately 1.2 bn global consumers, our Client is a house of iconic brands including: J’s BABY, NEUTROGENA, Listerine O.B Care FREE, OLYNTH, Imodium, Nicorette, etc. Due to expansion of their team, on behalf of our Client we are looking for a qualified and motivated candidate for the position Brand Activation Executive for W. Balkans & Bulgaria Countries based in Skopje .

Purpose of the position

The Brand Activation Executive will manage and lead projects to drive Brand amplification in the W. Balkans & Bulgaria Countries, while ensuring market-leading excellence in execution towards consumer, shopper and customer on a given portfolio of skin health and/or self-care brands.

Key Responsibilities

  • Be the driver behind your brands’ performance in W. Balkans & Bulgaria Countries. Shape the portfolio strategy and manage the variety of geographies in a way that the company will achieve the best results
  • Develop and implement Brand Activation Plans for all brands under their responsibility, ensuring full alignment with regional and cluster brand strategy, but also making necessary adaptations to excel in local context and competition map
  • Develop and deploy annual strategy activation plans including Channel Strategy, Pricing, NPIs, Distribution Targets, Activation Plans, budget allocation per country, NTS target, market trends, sell out and market share estimation
  • Advise on Perfect in store activation (national & tailor-made) per Category / Brand
  • Shape & deliver presentations and plans to Sales teams, Customers / Distributors, Business Development Managers
  • Build and harness the power of a cross functional team to align behind objectives and work closely with all departments to perfectly execute a strong professional plan and deliver sales, share and profit targets
  • Monitor the market trends, shares of brands and competition setting by delivering compelling insights and translating them in winning activation plans
  • Adapt or create professional marketing materials for local brands
  • Provide feedback and share local requirements to Transcreation/Adaptation brief for all assets, digital assets and product artworks (Master text and the Final Artwork validation,) while proceed with changes or adjustments to meet local needs
  • Actively join and present local point of view and best practices in W. Balkans & Bulgaria Countries cross functional teams, while drive business results
  • Secure synchronization of consumer and shopper/trade activities and managers local BTL budget

Required Qualifications

  • University/Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing or another related field
  • Master’s degree will be considered as an asset
  • 3 to 5 years of relevant working experience with mass brands
  • E-commerce / digital marketing experience
  • Proficient skills in English (verbal and written)
  • Computer literacy

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience with marketing/digital marketing/e-commerce in the Pharma in Skin Health or Selfcare / OTC is strongly desired
  • Ability to operate and interact between functions within a sophisticated and complex organization
  • Financial and business acumen, partnering mentality and strong collaboration skills
  • Outstanding presentation, reporting and communication skills
  • Knowledge of Retail Audit databases usage (ie. Nielsen, IQVIA, IRI) will be considered as an asset
  • Results orientation with a passion for growth, combined with excellence in execution
  • Ability to think out of the box, propose solutions and overcome barriers
