Programme IT Systems Software Support Engineer (f/m)
SOS Children’s Villages International – Branch office Skopje is looking for a qualified and motivated IT professional for the position Programme IT Systems Software Support Engineer. Location: Skopje.

As a non-governmental social development organization, SOS Children’s Villages International helps children without parental care and families in difficult living conditions through services in care, education, health and emergency relief, and advocacy for children’s rights.
Purpose of the position
The Programme IT SystemsSoftware Support Engineer is primarily working in the shared service center by providing first level user support and training to end users for systems. They may be involved in development depending on the skills and interests.
The Programme IT systems team provides systems for programme staff and aggregates data for reporting on all levels of the Federation to inform evidence-based decision-making. These systems include PDB2 for case management, ProDIGI for programme and project management, and the Programme Compass App for combined Power BI reporting.
Tasks and Responsibilities
Manage System Support
- Administrate service desks as the first level support for end user
- Assign licenses and access to users
- Solve common issues and report summary/ticket to team/ICT
- Maintain good relationship with end users and maintain key user network
Training of Users
- Deliver virtual or in-face trainings to users
- Assist end users in utilizing systems to their fullest potential
- Support team to create training materials and similar tasks to provide systems to users
Participate in development and maintenance of systems
- Contribute to piloting and rollout of new features
- Manual testing of new functionalities in Programme IT systems
- Implement translations in Programme IT systems
Create simple reports in Power BI, salesforce and other used technologies and support the sharing of descriptive programme statistics
Requirements
- Relevant bachelor’s degree in IT related field or equivalent technical training from certified institute
- 1-2 years’ experience in customer support
- Proven track record in software development projects
- Presentation and communication skills
- Excellent communication skills, fluent in English
- Experience in Salesforce Administration is advantage
- Knowledge in Data visualization is desirable
- Experience in Scrum is plus
- Knowledge in Spanish, French, Russian, Arabic is plus
