Technical Solution Engineer D365 ERP (f/m)
SOS Children’s Villages International https://www.sos-childrensvillages.org/ is the umbrella organization for the global federation of SOS Children’s Villages which help children without parental care and families in difficult living conditions through services in care, education, health and emergency relief, and advocacy for children’s rights.
Purpose of the job
The International Service Team for their integrated ERP applications is responsible for the administration, further development and servicing of the D365 modules and all related products. This team consists of business and systems analysts who are experts in their respective applications and work together in a cross-functional international team.
To strengthen this powerful team, the Technical Solution Engineer D365 ERP shall support the team by providing technical support on the Azure Platform in LCS and the entire CDS environment. This is to ensure that all customers in the federation always have secure access to all our productive and test environments.
The Technical Solution Engineer D365 ERP is responsible for a stable and functional Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP environment. Ensures system / services / application operations, availability, security and stability within our SOS Microsoft Tenant for all affected SOS co-workers.
Tasks and Responsibilities
- D365 environment Management
- All aspects of the D365 Lifecycle Services process
- Deployment Management
- User / License Administration and Reporting
- Management of D365 Azure subscription
- Management of Cloud-hosted environments in Lifecycle Services (LCS)
- System load analysis
- DevOps pipeline management and source code deployment process
- Collaboration and alignment with the software testing and Quality Assurance unit
- Release management
- Database management (updates, copies etc)
- Manage Dataverse Integration Model
- Maintain and Manage Virtual Entities
- Coordination and Cooperation with Avanade Managed Service Center India
- Incident management / Service Desk 1st and 2nd Level Support within GSC
- Process and system documentation
Requirements
- Bachelor degree in IT / engineering or similar field of expertise
- Strong background on MS portfolio in particular D365
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Expertise in MS Azure, DevOps and LCS
- Fluent in English and developed communication skills
- Microsoft certifications are desirable
- Strong analytic thinking
- Feeling for intercultural differences
