Business Analyst – D365 Finance & Operations

To enhance operational efficiency, SOS Children’s Villages International is implementing Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365), streamlining processes and enabling data-driven decision making.
Role Overview
We are seeking a Business Analyst – D365 Finance & Operations to join the ERP Systems team. The successful candidate will act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring that business needs are translated into actionable requirements and provides solutions.
This role requires autonomy, collaboration across functions, and the ability to to translate complex business needs into scalable technical solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather, analyze, and document business needs; translate into functional/technical specifications.
- Conduct Requirement, Change, and Test management according to ALM framework.
- Provide and ensure system operation and support to D365 Finance and Operations users.
- Continuously improve and assure quality of D365 applications, implement modifications, additional configurations and modules.
- Ensure data quality, compliance, and proper documentation of system changes and operational procedures.
- Provide expert knowledge to support Finance process design.
- Support integrations with HR and other enterprise applications.
- Collaborate with product owners, system analysts, and developers.
- Provide trainings and product documentation for D365 users.
Candidate Profile
Education & Experience
- Undergraduate degree in Business Informatics, Information Systems, Computer Science, or Business Administration or Business Analyst certification.
- 3–5 years’ experience in business analysis or IT service delivery, software training and key user management.
Essential Skills
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
- Proactive mindset with attention to detail.
- Solid knowledge of finance processes and ERP applications (D365 experience highly desirable).
- Openness to intercultural diversity, stakeholder management, critical thinking.
Desirable Skills
- Knowledge of ITIL, experience in SQL and data visualization tools, DevOps, advanced Excel.
