About the job

The Head of Group Controlling will be accountable for the Group Controlling function covering the 13 companies within the TAB Group. The position does not have a team/direct subordinates, but has to communicate with all the leaders in the group. Reports directly in Slovenia to Head of Finance and the CEO.     
Controlling function is being built, new ideas are welcome!

Tasks and Responsibilities

• Supervision of affiliated companies, acquisition and analysis of monthly results
• Profitability and deviations
• Calculating break-even points, cost centers analysis, annual consolidated budget for the next year, annual plans, help with annual reports
• Ad hoc analysis, always with enough time available/informed well in advance
• Support to outsourcing companies for the process of applications for tenders
• Some controlling functions also take place in production itself
• Reporting on the last Monday of the month

Requirements

• Relevant University degree
• Controlling experience within manufacturing industry
• Strong understanding of financial statements
• Knowledge of SAP is highly desirable
• Fluency in English language
• Ability for travelling, up to 12 business trips per year (SLO and other countries)
• Communication and interpersonal skills
• Responsible person, flexibility, self-initiative, proactivity, independence, however help will always be at hand
